This webinar will address how to implement and adapt trauma-informed practices across school settings. During these unprecedented times, the social and emotional well-being of our students, parents, teachers, and administrators is of critical importance.
Tools and strategies will be provided to address the social and emotional needs of the school community even while the school doors remain shut. Please join us to learn how to implement trauma-informed practices across all school settings, how to manage current challenges due to virtual learning, and provide support and access to care for yourself, your students, and your staff to improve the overall health of your school community.
Principals, teachers, parents, and mental health professionals

Rachel Masi, PhD, is the Director of Research at Sandy Hook Promise (SHP), where she oversees studies evaluating the effectiveness of SHP’s programs and utilizes these findings, together with current research, to improve SHP’s program development and delivery. Dr. Masi is also a licensed clinical psychologist who provides treatment to children, adolescents, adults, and their families in a private practice setting. Dr. Masi specializes in parent education, child development, and clinical psychology, focusing on the critical intersection of psychology and education.
Pamela Black is co-developer of Wisconsin’s Trauma-Sensitive Schools Professional Learning System, the Wisconsin Trauma-Sensitive Schools Learning Modules, and the companion coaching curriculum. As a consultant within Wisconsin and for the National Council on Behavioral Health’s Trauma-Sensitive Schools’ initiative, Pamela works with teams across the country to align their programs and practices with Trauma Sensitive School values.
