Description
The Michigan Schools and Prosecutors Partnerships Workshop is a collaborative training program designed for Michigan prosecutors and school personnel, including School Resource Officers (SROs), counselors, administrators, and school lawyers. This program aims to enhance collaboration and communication between prosecutors and school safety professionals, ensuring a safer and more supportive environment for students.

School Personnel, County Prosecutors, Law Enforcement/SROs, Mental Health Professionals, School Administrators, Superintendents, School Lawyers
Learning Objectives
- By the end of this workshop, attendees will be able to explain the importance of the prosecutor-school partnership in school safety.
- By the end of this workshop, attendees will be able to identify the roles of both parties in the context of school safety.
- By the end of this workshop, attendees will be able to recognize the actions each role takes when issues occur.
- By the end of this workshop, attendees will be able to bridge communication and information-sharing gaps between school personnel and prosecutors.
